Audio interview with Leslie Bonci

Leslie is the official sports dietitian for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, as well as a consulting nutritionist for the USA Women’s Rugby team, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and works closely with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

In addition to being director of Sports Medicine Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Leslie is a busy author and speaker. She is committed to “getting people to a better state of health.”

With a master’s degree in public health, Leslie also understands the day-to-day pressures and barriers people face in getting enough protein. Leslie will explain why protein is important, and also tell us about whey protein, a high-quality, natural source of protein derived from cow’s milk.
